What is the Personalized Leadership Roadmap (PLR)?

The PLR is a cornerstone mini-program to help kickstart your leadership growth and development. Our PLR mini-program starts with a comprehensive, 360° assessment survey of your current leadership competencies, in order to identify key areas for targeted growth. This is followed by a one-on-one review with a certified executive coach, who will guide you through the assessment findings, help you to identify key strengths, pinpoint high-value competencies for growth, and provide you with a bespoke roadmap to chart out your specific leadership growth pathways and potential resources.

Who is the Personalized Leadership Roadmap (PLR) for?

The PLR is a great way for those with some managerial / leadership experience and responsibilities to (a) kickstart your leadership growth journey, by helping to pinpoint specific competencies for targeted development; (b) take stock of your leadership potential and performance, in order to become more competitive in your organization and field; and/or (c) re-assess and refresh your leadership profile, particularly if you are about to embark on a new chapter in your professional path.

What is a 360° Leadership Assessment?

Broadly, a 360° leadership assessment is a survey exercise where, in addition to your self-assessment of your leadership behaviors, your superiors, subordinates and peers are also asked to provide their feedback confidentially and comprehensively. 360° feedback is a valuable tool to attain a clearer, fuller picture of how your leadership impacts and affects those under and around you.

How does it work?

Our PLR uses the Global Leadership Assessment (GLA360) – one of the leading 360° assessment tools in the industry, and the first and only assessment co-developed by multinational companies. The GLA360 articulates and measures the top 15 most important competencies for today’s global leader, and is rooted in research involving CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, global thought leaders, and international business executives from some 100 countries.

Why is a global 360° Leadership Assessment useful?

360° assessments are widely recognized as a valuable tool for leadership development and talent management. A global assessment is especially useful to help benchmark leaders against the standards of top multi-national companies across the world, and to better prepare for success in international roles, leading a globalizing business, managing diversity, and managing international teams, markets, customers and stakeholders.

How does the global 360° Leadership Assessment work?

The 360° Leadership Assessment primarily consists of a comprehensive survey with 72 questions (using a 5-point scale), plus 3 open questions for verbatim feedback, which will be filled by you and your 3 selected respondents (peers / superiors / direct reports).

The survey questions (and resulting assessment) is based on 15 competencies in 5 clusters (scientifically validated), derived from a norm group of 2,800 international leaders from a wide range of countries, ages, organizational levels, industries and education backgrounds.

Why do I need at least 3 respondents to fill out the survey?

Feedback from respondents (other than yourself) is vital to meaningfully obtain holistic, 360° awareness. Comprehensive and constructive feedback from co-workers is ideal but can often be difficult to obtain, particularly face-to-face. An anonymous survey process (like what is utilized here) is often the best way to collect such input, and having 3 respondents helps to provide a fuller picture of leadership behaviors and competencies, so as to more accurately derive valuable insights.

Why do I need a one-on-one Analysis Session with a certified Executive Coach?

While you will receive a detailed, 45+ page report on your leadership assessment, the Analysis Session will help you to “digest” and process the information provided, so that you can get the most insight and direction out of the assessment process.

During the session, our certified Executive Coach will help to clarify any questions you may have about the process and assessment, explain the key insights and analyses from your report, including helping you to prioritize 1-2 high-value leadership growth areas to focus on, and provide guidance on how you can go about developing these competencies.
